The big rigs rolled into Cowboy Country earlier this June to celebrate the 41st annual Shell Rotella SuperRigs truck beauty contest in Gillette, Wyoming. SuperRigs is not just a celebration of the trucking industry but also a tribute to the unsung heroes who tirelessly traverse the nation's highways, delivering goods that keep our economy moving. It's a chance for truckers to shine and receive the recognition they truly deserve.

The event kicked off on Thursday, June 8 and the first day of action was highlighted by the truck parade through downtown Gillette. The local community braved the rain showers and showed enormous support to the SuperRigs contestants as they rolled through town, waving and blaring their horns.

After a busy day of polishing their trucks and having them to be judged, it was time for the contestants to shine during the Friday night light show. The gleaming exteriors of the trucks reflected and refracted the vibrant lights, creating a visual spectacle for contestants and many local families to enjoy.

The light show concluded with a concert by local band The Pillage People, along with the first-ever Shell Rotella SuperRigs drone light show, sponsored by Advanced Auto Parts. The drone show featured more than 100 drones weaving through the sky to create a dazzling displays of patterns and shapes that beautifully complemented the trucks on the ground below.

On Saturday, contestants gathered in the CAM-PLEX Convention Center for the awards ceremony, the culmination of all the hard work they put into preparing their trucks for the show. This year, 1st Place Best of Show went to Truett and Crystal Novosad with Doc Holliday, a 2007 Peterbilt 379 Legacy. This was an especially sweet moment for the Novosad's who won their first Best of Show prize after 20 years of competing at SuperRigs!

The competitors at this year's show embodied the spirit of Cowboy Country through their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. The event brought together the community to celebrate all the best things about trucking and show appreciation for the industry. We can't wait to see you at SuperRigs next year!
