For the past five years, Bill Bruno has been the reliable link between the Silver City Resort in the Sierra Nevada mountains and the supplies it needs to run. Twice a week, he delivers groceries and housekeeping essentials up the 21-mile stretch of Mineral King Road, a route with a staggering 700 curves climbing from 1,500 feet to 7,000 feet in elevation.

October 2025 marked his 155th trip, after safely negotiating 217,000 curves along this challenging mountain road.
